Where can I buy Low Carb Tortillas?

What can I buy from your Online Store?
Currently, we sell our Low Carb Tortillas, Fat Free Tortillas, and two flavors of our WrapArounds. All of our other products cannot be purchased online.
Is there a minimum order from your Online Store?
Yes. There is a minimum order of one case.
Where is La Tortilla Factory located?
We are located in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County. Santa Rosa, CA.
I own a store and want to order some product for resale, how can I access your commercial Online Store?
In order to open a commercial account with la Tortilla Factory, you need to fax us a copy of your resale license. From that point we will open an account for you and give you your number to use to access our commercial Online Store.
Low Carb Questions
Are there really only 3g of carbs in your Low Carb Tortillas?
Yes. To get a total of 3g carbs, you deduct the grams of dietary fiber from the total carb grams to get net carb grams.
Why do we subtract the dietary fiber from the total carb count?
This is done because according to the Code of Federal Regulations set by the FDA, dietary fiber is non-digestible.
What is the shelf life of our Low Carb Tortillas?
- Room temperature (non-refrigeration) = 30-45 days
- Refrigeration = 60 - 90 days
- Frozen = up to 6 months
How much soy is in our Low Carb Tortillas?
The three main ingredients of Low Carb Tortillas besides water are whole wheat, oat fiber and soy flour. Out of those three ingredients, the quantity of soy flour is the least.
Is the oil we use hydrogenated?
Our canola oil is not hydrogenated, it is expeller pressed (pressed cold as opposed to hot pressed).
Will Low Carb Tortillas help me lose weight?
Low Carb Tortillas work in a number of diets, however we suggest you consult your doctor in regards to diets and losing weight.

What is the benefit of using soy flour in your Low Carb Tortillas?
Soy flour contains less carbs and higher protein than normal flour. In addition, various health studies have shown that more soy in your diet is better for you.
Do you use animal by-products in your tortillas?
No. All of our products are Kosher-Parve certified. This means we use absolutely no animal by-products, lard, or dairy in any of our tortillas.
Why use non-Aluminum baking powder?
We use non-Aluminum baking powder because of studies that associated Aluminum with Alzheimer's Disease.
What is the 4-4-9 Rule?
The Genesis 4-4-9 method uses the main energy sources of foods and multiples them as follows: protein times 4 plus protein times four plus fat times 9 to attain caloric value of a food. This is known by nutrition labeling people to be an approximation only. Although not 100% accurate, is had proved to be a great tool for dieters and basic calorie counting. A nutrition analysis lab uses true value testing (Atwater method). As a result, it is not uncommon for the Genesis 4-4-9 calculation to be slightly different. Additionally, labeling laws require that the values be rounded according to their rules which can also affect the outcome.![]()
