California temperatures have been cookin’ lately, so we’ve been eating, drinking and sleeping (no joke) outside as much as possible. These refreshing vegetarian wraps are ideal for sweltering summer days and look no further than your own backyard for a sweet little spot to enjoy them. Whatever you do, just be careful that the backyard chickens don’t get to them before you do! (Scroll down to see some of curious hens.)

There’s most likely millions of combinations you could create, so just start wrapping things up to see what you like. The key to a well-behaved wrap is to slice the veggies thin so that they fold nicely and don’t puncture the tortilla. In order to get our veg rail thin, we used a mandoline. Cheers!
