Gluten Free Ham & Swiss Tart


1/4 cup canola oil

1 La Tortilla Factory Gluten Free, Wheat Free Wrap

3 slices of ham

1 ounce reduced fat Swiss cheese, shredded

1 Roma tomato, thinly sliced

3 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped


Heat oil in a sauté pan on medium-high heat. Using tongs, lightly brown the wrap until golden and bubbly. Remove to a paper towel and let rest for a few minutes to allow for crisping. Heat the oven to broil. Sprinkle with the majority of cheese, layer with ham, tomato slices, and a sprinkle of cheese for the top. Place in the oven for 1 minute or until cheese is completely melted – careful not to burn it! Remove from the oven, top with fresh basil. Slice into four and serve immediately.
