Products Used: La Tortilla Tradicion Flour tortillas and 505 Southwestern Green Chile Sauce (Mild or Medium)

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 6-8 hours in slow cooker, check at 6 hours

Additional Optional Products To Incorporate: 505 Fresh Red Chile BBQ Sauce

INGREDIENTS

4 pound pork shoulder

1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice (or sub store-bought)

1 chopped yellow onion

1 cup 505 Southwestern Mild or Medium Green Chile Sauce

4 cloves garlic chopped

Rub:

2 tspn salt

1 tbsp pepper

2 tspn chile powder

1 tbsp oregano

1 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp olive oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix the rub together in a separate bowl, rub all over pork shoulder.
  2. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook for 6 hours on low.
  3. Remove pork to cutting board and shred with two forks, drain some of the liquid for desired consistency and add pork back into slow cooker. Add pork to La Tortilla Tradicion Flour tortillaspoon 505 Green Chile sauce, and add fixings like cotija cheese, pickled red onions and cilantro for a high protein meal.
