Paloma translates to “dove” in Spanish but this spicy twist on a classic cocktail is anything but peaceful. 

Prep time: 3 minutes


1.5 ounces of tequila, pick your favorite brand!

2 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice

1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice

Sliced jalapeño (optional) the more seeds, the spicier the cocktail will be!

Scoop of ice

Club Soda

Coarse salt

Grapefruit wedge


Rim a rocks or highball glass using the juice of a lime or grapefruit wedge. Dip into a plate of coarse salt.

Mix the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and a few slices of jalapeño in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.

Strain into glass.

Float club soda and garnish with a grapefruit wedge and additional slices of jalapeño. Enjoy!
